As some might have noticed, we have enabled Zapper payments for subs/lights at the club.
– Simply get the Zapper app (https://www.zapper.com/download.php)
– Set up the app with your bank card details
– Scan the QR code at the club, and pay
We will get a notification that you have paid money, and will then update your account.
We are in the process of integrating Zapper to our Court Manager software at the club, which will allow you to pay using Zapper and then immediately see the lights payment reflect (in case you arrive to play and have no money in your lights account).
We have decided to start up an internal league running from the end of the Northerns league up to our club champs at the end of the year.
The Centurion iLeague is an internal league for club members.
There will be 8 teams of 5 players each, playing 7 matches (1 per week) over a 7 week period.
The teams will be selected according to the club ladder for equal strength.
It will be GREAT FUN, so don’t delay in putting your name down. Everyone and all skill levels are welcome! Details on the banner and at the club.
As league goes, the club’s focus is on league teams’ success and player enjoyment.
For that reason we have put in place a process where Thursday teams will be finalised by Tuesday.
This is done to allow players to plan their week and know where they will play, and also give the club the opportunity to field the strongest teams possible.
All Thursday teams will be selected from the pool of players available for that week according to the club ladder, meaning that there might be some movement up and down.
Some players, playing at nr 4 or nr 1 in a team, might find themselves playing in various teams as they move up or down.
Will all captains please ensure they communicate their available players to me by Tuesday morning so that we can determine the team compositions.
Any late team changes (after Tuesday) will be handled by the club on a case by case basis.
Thanks to everyone for your cooperation in this process.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
